Medico-Legal and Medical Negligence
For more than eight years I accept cases as medico-legal and medical negligence expert. Majority of my medico-legal work is for claimants when majority of my medical negligence work is for defendants (NHS).
Apart from interviewing and examining claimants and medical notes I base my opinion of impairment where pertinent on Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment*. This book does offer reproducible method to assess permanent impairment of single or multiple injured claimant. Calculating exact number in % can be demanding and time consuming, but range of impairment is easily accessible without any in-depth studying of the book.
